CAN I CONVERT MY VEHICLES?

However, you can now buy brand new bi-fuel vehicles - Volvo,
Nissan, Ford, LDV and Vauxhall are just some of the big names currently offering LPG as an option for cars, vans and vehicles
of all sizes.
Converting your existing fleet to bi-fuel use is usually straightforward
and highly cost-effective. There are various tank fittings, from the basic cylindrical shape to a "donut" design that
fits snugly into the spare wheel-well.
The conversion costs are recouped within the first year of savings
on your fuel bill.
On dual-fuel you can avoid the vehicle running out, just by the
flick of a switch.
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT THE FLEET DRIVERS?
If you run an entire fleet on LPG the savings really start to mount
up, particularly with your own bunkered supply and LPG gives you no appreciable loss in performance. LPG has a calorific
value of around 80% of that of petrol, eg £10 worth of LPG will take you 139 miles, whereas the same amount of money spent
on petrol will take you just 84 miles.
